Tax Associate

PopeWaller, is seeking a full-time Tax Associate interested in building relationships and advancing their career.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients by gathering information and resolving problems.
• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tax regulations and law.
• Acquire a working knowledge of clients’ businesses
• Perform other accounting services as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of tax experience.
• 4 year accounting degree.
• Majority of travel required within the Phoenix-metro area.
• Dedication to superior client service.
• Highly motivated self-starter able to multitask and complete assignments within deadlines.
• Professional, dependable, honest, and trustworthy, combined with a cooperative attitude.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
